Hey Sis Paul I didnt know how to ask a sewing question, so I hope you get this... I am wanting to lengthen a dress for church. I was wondering if it would be easier to but fabric to match it, or to make a slip that is meant to be shown to add the length. I only need iit like 2 inches longer. Its to my knees but holding kids make it rise higher than I want!

So sorry, Alicia! I guess I should check my blog every month instead of every other month!I think I'd go with the slip that's meant to be shown underneath - then maybe you could use it for other dresses too!
